Overview
Reporting to the Head of Strategic Partnerships, this role is responsible for executing, managing, and growing strategic partnerships that drive customer acquisition, deepen customer engagement, strengthen the bank's wealth, health, lifestyle, and digital ecosystem propositions, and support international banking growth.
The successful candidate will bring a blend of commercial acumen, partnership management, and execution excellence, working closely with regional and country teams across Product, Marketing, Distribution, Technology, Legal, Compliance, and Risk to deliver impactful partnership initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Execute the end-to-end strategic partnership roadmap aligned with Retail Banking objectives.
- Develop and grow strategic partnerships across key sectors, including Health & Wellness and Lifestyle.
- Identify, onboard, and manage strategic partners, ensuring a solid and sustainable business relationships.
- Oversee partnership agreements, including co-branding, referral programmes, affiliate models, and product bundling initiatives.
- Act as the primary relationship manager for allocated partners, driving engagement and long-term value creation.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Technology, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Distribution teams to successfully deliver partnership initiatives.
- Coordinate with regional and country stakeholders to ensure alignment with business priorities and governance requirements.
- Lead partnership initiatives from strategy development and business case preparation through implementation, launch, and ongoing optimisation.
- Build and manage partnership business cases and P&L, establishing KPIs to monitor commercial performance.
- Analyse partnership performance, identify opportunities for growth, and recommend improvements or exit strategies where appropriate.
- Ensure all partnership activities comply with internal governance, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards.
Requirements
- Degree in Marketing or any related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B partnership or relationship management with a excellent track record of delivering commercial outcomes.
- Good understanding of Retail Banking products, including deposits, credit cards, investments, and wealth management is good to have.
- Experience working with fintechs, technology platforms, lifestyle brands, wealth managers, and partners across travel, health, or education sectors.
- Experience leading end-to-end partnership execution, from strategy and business case development through implementation and optimisation.
- Good understanding of P&L management, commercial drivers, and partnership economics.
- Familiarity with banking regulations, compliance, conduct risk, and outsourcing governance requirements.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
